How does the free trial work?
Start a 7-day free trial with full access to all thirty daily picks and the archive. You won't be charged until the trial ends, and we'll remind you before it does. Cancel any time before the trial ends and you pay nothing.
What if I don't like it?
Cancel before the trial ends and you are never charged. If you are charged for your first paid period, our 7-day money-back guarantee on that first charge applies — email [email protected]. See the refund page for the full policy.
Will I be charged automatically?
Yes. After the free trial your membership renews automatically — monthly or annually, whichever you chose — at the price shown on the pricing section, until you cancel. There are no long-term contracts.
Is my payment information secure?
Payments are processed over an encrypted connection. We don't store full card details on our own servers. Note that real checkout connects once subscription setup is finalised; until then the checkout button shows a neutral status notice.
How is the daily selection chosen?
Our founder Mateo Herrera and a small Viljandi team watch the new submissions each morning and rank thirty by hand. It is human editorial judgement, not an algorithm optimising for watch time.
When does the ranking refresh?
Every day at 00:00 in your own device's local timezone. The countdown on the homepage shows exactly how long until the next reset.
Does the same essay stay at #1 forever?
No. Number one holds only until midnight your local time, then the whole list of thirty is re-ranked the next morning. Yesterday's top pick moves into the archive for members.
What devices can I watch on?
videozone works in any modern web browser on desktop, tablet, and phone. We do not currently offer a native mobile app, a smart-TV app, or offline downloads, and we won't claim features we haven't built.
Can I download essays to watch offline?
Not at the moment. videozone is web-only streaming today. If we add offline viewing in the future we'll say so clearly rather than imply it now.
Can I share my account?
A membership is intended for personal use by one person. We keep pricing low precisely so individuals don't need to share — see the Terms for the details.
