Content Policy

Valguskaader OÜ · Viljandi, Estonia · Effective 2026-04-11

videozone is a curated home for photographic visual essays. This policy sets the standards every submitted and published essay must meet. It applies to photographers and filmmakers who send work for consideration, and to all content shown on the Service.

Editorial standards

We publish documentary, landscape, street, portrait, architectural, fine-art, analog, and industrial photographic essays. Work is selected on craft, integrity, and the quality of attention it rewards — not on volume or virality.

Prohibited content

Rights clearance for submissions

By submitting an essay you confirm that you are the author or are authorised to submit it, and that you hold the necessary rights and releases — including, where required, model and property releases and any music or third-party licences. You grant Valguskaader OÜ permission to review and, if selected, to stream the work to members. Inclusion in the daily ranking and the archive is an editorial decision and is not guaranteed.

AI disclosure

videozone is a home for photography made by people. If a submission incorporates AI-generated or AI-altered imagery beyond ordinary processing, you must disclose this clearly when you submit. Undisclosed synthetic or materially manipulated work misrepresented as straight photography may be declined or removed.

Reporting and removal

To report content that breaches this policy, email [email protected]. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA process. We may remove content and suspend accounts that violate these standards.
